Associate Vice President
Tyler Shymansky is a Senior Associate responsible for supporting the acquisition and asset management activities of CCM Real Estate. His primary responsibilities include evaluating potential investments, joint ventures, and development projects, as well as asset management of the firm’s current holdings.
Prior to joining CCM Real Estate, Tyler was an Associate at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust where he focused on acquisitions and asset management. During his tenure, Tyler was directly involved in over $1 billion of transactions across a variety of property types, implemented accounting measures into forecasting tools and created framework for lease approval.
Additionally, Tyler currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Colvin Institute of Real Estate Development at University of Maryland where he teaches Argus Software for real estate valuation and tutors students in Microsoft Excel.
Tyler holds a BS in Business Administration with concentrations in Real Estate, Finance, and Marketing from the University of South Carolina and is currently pursuing a Masters of Business Administration (MBA) from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, expected graduation May 2019.
