A Director at CCM Energy, Alla Jezmir evaluates investment opportunities and spearheads efforts to deploy portfolio company solutions across CCM and partners’ real estate holdings. Prior to joining CCM, she served as a Project Manager in the Business Development Group at AES Corporation, a Fortune 200 global power generation and distribution company, where she facilitated the development of the company’s Global Integrated Gas Program. While part of the AES Independent Review Team, she provided final investment recommendations to the AES Investment Committee and Board of Directors and supported utility-scale project development for the AES award-winning Energy Storage Group.
Previously, as Principal of the Green Portfolio at the Calvert Foundation, Alla led the organization’s Green Initiative, facilitating deployment of $10 million in investments at the intersection of environmental sustainability and poverty alleviation. She brings significant international development and consulting experience with organizations such as TechnoServe, Greenfuel Technologies, USAID, and Masdar, and was a Summer Associate in the Cleantech Group, Investment Banking Division, at Jefferies & Company.
Alla holds an MBA from Harvard Business School, an MPA from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, and a BS in International Business and Political Science from Washington University in St. Louis. She is co-founder and current Board Chair of EGG-energy, a social enterprise that provides energy services to low-income Tanzanian households and small enterprises lacking access to the electricity grid.
